Herapreg
Short story
My name is Emmanuelle. I'm a mother of three, and the creator of the Herapreg brand and Pelvinity compression underwear.
During my third pregnancy, I developed vulvar varices very early on. The pain was unbearable, and deeply debilitating. I felt a heaviness in the vulvar area so intense that some days, walking was simply impossible. My daily life was turned upside down — continuing to work and caring for my children became a real struggle.
My obstetric gynecologist prescribed compression tights, which improved my venous return but did nothing for the vulvar pain itself.
After weeks of searching online, I realized that in France, there was no real solution designed to relieve this kind of pain and heaviness.
Through forums, I discovered I wasn't alone — many women described the same experience, the same distress I felt.
I went on to try a few products sold abroad. Some helped a little, but none of them ever gave me the relief I was looking for — but that, too, became part of what motivated me: I was determined to build something better, so other women wouldn't have to live through what I did.
After years of research, testing, and conversations with pelvic health professionals, Pelvinity was born 🎉
The first compression underwear in Europe designed to:
👉 Relieve pelvic and vulvar heaviness
👉 Ease vulvar varicosities
👉 Support women living with prolapse
✔️ Through gentle, targeted compression you can wear every day.
Today, Pelvinity isn't only for pregnant women. It's for every woman affected by these discomforts that are so often overlooked or dismissed.
An idea is born
Values and missions
I created the Herapreg brand to develop real solutions for these often-overlooked feminine discomforts. After months of testing across the different situations that cause uncomfortable feelings of heaviness, what began as a solution for pregnant women has since helped far more women than I ever expected.
Acknowledgments
I want to thank the midwives and healthcare professionals I worked with — their kindness and availability toward their patients helped bring Herapreg to life, and this collaboration has been deeply enriching. A huge thank you to my husband and friends, who supported me through every phase of this project and never stopped believing in me. And to my children — Eve, Samuel, and especially Simon, without whom I'd never have known what a vulvar varicose vein even was! Finally, thank you to all the women whose solidarity made this possible.
